a newer painting of mine!!! this one was originally for an OC zine but... I realized that the location didn't make much sense for Songstep, who is a WindClan warrior, so I've been working on another piece that fits better, which freed me up to post this :3c
I put so much more detail into this than any of my older pieces and I think it really payed off, despite taking forever I'm really happy with it

I saw @riverclan 's awesome mythological AU and I just had to do a design for Songstep!!! I had fun figuring out her half-clan traits, she's a part of and is loyal to WindClan, but against the norm she's quite proud of her RiverClan blood and the strengths that come with it, so she's got a decent-ish sized tail feel free to tag as #kin if you identify with... whatever Song's species might be here, but please don't tag as #me

I’m still working out her character information and backstory and all of that, like a lot of my sona characters she’s quite similar to myself, just modified to fit into the warriors universe, although I’m going into more detail in her/my past than I usually do, which is making some things complicated I doubt I’ll ever release a linear fanfic or comic to tell her story, I plan instead on making a bunch of PMVs with detailed descriptions and maybe doing some askblog style type things, but I’m not entirely sure yet
