Dear Secret Song,

I thank God for the artists He has blessed my life with. One of my singer friends gave me a copy of you last night just as I was lying down on my bed tired from all that the world is demanding of me. She told me you're a secret song she wrote with her mentor! How awesome is that?! 

I lay there on my bed and listened to her sing. Listened to you. And you sang to me. You know how they say some songs just feel like they were made for you? You felt like that to me. For a moment, you felt like MY secret song. You are mine. And in that moment, I was yours too. 

There is indeed beauty in believing that one can sing in a broken string. We are all broken, aren't we? We just try to give our best despite. Thank you for reminding me that. You're on replay today and maybe on the days to come. I need help believing again. And I want to, I desperately want to. With that, I'll risk the letting go.
