To 17 year old me
In eleventh grade I met this guy. Tall, handsome, funny, weird, and he could sing. Although I knew I shouldn't I instantly fell head over heels for him, knowing full well I would have to fight my best friend for him. We flirted for a year but then he went to college, met a girl, and we stopped talking. Fast forward four years later to him sending me 100 puny valentine's on Facebook. We started talking again and he told me he had always like me. A month later and we have been consistently talking. I never thought this would happen to me.
Zounds.
I bought Colgate Optic White Toothpaste more or less on a whim, because it cost $4 so what the hey. It's a whitening toothpaste that's supposed to be bigger and badder than other whitening toothpastes, more along the lines of whitening strips, but my hopes were in check because generally I just assume stuff doesn't work. (Except Retin-A, because Jane from the Hairpin said so and I trust her with my life.) The package said to expect results within a week.
It has now been a week, and I flashed a smile at myself in the mirror this morning to see if there was any discernible change. And, this toothpaste wasn't kidding! My teeth are waaay whiter than previously. Not like movie-star-teeth white or anything where you might blind the sun accidentally, but regular healthy-person-teeth white. Hats off to you, toothpaste.
