I know, I know. Even with Google Translate the title doesn't make sense.
Matt -- the lovely Québécois firefighter we met in Thailand and rendezvoused with in Tokyo -- introduced us to his nice Japanese-American friend Kevin for a night of all-you-can-drink karaoke in the insane Shibuya neighborhood of Tokyo. When asked what is the quintessential Japanese karaoke song, Kevin proposed this pop-tastic gem. It might be the North American equivalent to something like Livin' on a Prayer. While he sang through a massive smile with his flawless Japanese, Matt, Mike and me followed the dance moves in the video, arms flailing asynchronously.
Fortunately, there is no recorded proof of this moment.
