What book did you last read? Briefly tell about it without spoiling the plot.
The last book I read was for school, it's called Jane Eyre. I don't remember much about the plot other than I liked it. I haven't read anything other than a textbook in two years... =(
If you could have anything in the world right now, what would it be?
The horse I leased last year, Doc. He would need to come with enough money for a lifetime of upkeep, though.
Democratic or Republican, and why?
Republican. Mostly because I don't feel the government should be super involved in our lives, but also partially because I tend to be more conservative than liberal.
What do you usually do when you cannot sleep at night?
Watch movies or TV. I have a difficult time interpreting what I'm hearing, especially if I'm unfamiliar with the person speaking, so movies take a fair amount of my concentration. If I watch a lighthearted, familiar show it takes just enough brain power to keep my thoughts from racing, but not enough to keep me from falling asleep.
What lyrics would most accurately describe how you are feeling right now?
Uncertainty is killing meÂ
And I’m certainly not asleepÂ
Maybe I’ve gone far to deepÂ
Maybe I’m just far to weakÂ
Ands that’s the last placeÂ
I want to be the last placeÂ
And there is so much we don’t knowÂ
So we love and we hope that it holdsÂ
Thousands were lost maybe moreÂ
The question remains, what is this for?Â
Maybe it came unexpectedÂ
Maybe I’m left unprotectedÂ
And that’s the last placeÂ
I want to be the last placeÂ
And there is so much we don’t knowÂ
So we love and we hope that it holdsÂ
And either we say or we showÂ
So I’m going to fight for my ownÂ
I’m holding on until the lastÂ
I’m holding on until there’s nothing leftÂ
I’m holding on until the lastÂ
I’m holding on until there’s nothing left
You’ve just won an unrealistically high amount of money. What do you do?
Either buy a horse or pay off my student loans. Or both, if it's enough money. I would invest/save whatever was left after that.Â
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Finishing school, getting a job as a pediatric PT, starting a family of my own.Â
What are you most ashamed of (so far) in your life?
I don't really want to share this information... I hope my biggest regret(s) will follow me to my grave.
What are you most proud of (so far) in your life?
Managing not to flunk out of college even after only earning ~10 credits out of 33 attempted credits my whole freshman year.Â
Name your three biggest pet peeves?
I always have a hard time thinking of them unless they're happening at the moment... Umm, people (other than my husband) touching my sides, people who leave their cigarette butts on the ground, and people messing with things that don't belong to them.Â
What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
The unbalance of power... I honestly believe that there is more than enough food and resources in the world for everyone to live happily and comfortably. The problem is that the people who have the power take more than they need at the expense of the poor, weak, and underprivileged. Does that almost makes me seem communist? I'm not really talking about "equality" I'm talking about every one's needs being met. Not everyone has the same needs.Â
