this song. I discovered this song in March.

I was in the car, going back home, and they aired this on the radio. at first I thought "this can't be a sign, because it talks about finding somebody new in summertime, about a love during summer", and I liked someone already. but still, there was something about this song that really caught me. I loved it at first listen and I decided to save it and keep listening to it, ignoring its meaning.

things with that person I liked already went really bad.

in May, I started to talk to somebody new.

in June, we started to develop feelings for each other. or at least, I did, because at this point I don't even know if that was a joke for him or not. but I did.

in July, we got "together".

it was the most intense thing I've ever felt for anyone. he made me feel like nobody else has ever made me feel before.

and I realised, when this song came on shuffle one day in July, that the lyrics came true.

"somewhere there is some place that one million eyes can't see, and somewhere there is someone who can see what I can see, someone, somewhere, in summertime".

he was in a place that one million eyes couldn't see.

he could see what I could see.

he was far away.

he was someone, somewhere, in summertime.

the most intense and important love I've ever had.
