100 Odd Cards ~ Bonus 2 The REAL final daily 100 Odd Cards development post, the rulesheet! It features the current iteration of the rules as I have explained them over the past 52 days. Of course, things might change over playtests. Three conveniently easy to draw FPs show off how to play the game in the main side, while an assorted group of characters messes around in the Tips & Tricks section.
Stuff I didn't include was explanations of every effect and a catalog of every card. Maybe they'd be a separate sheet, but I think this is plenty for now.
Ok now for actual real I will stop with the daily posts.

7 new stanzas for canto2 yesterday... Also: why am I logging my progress in stanzas? I should be doing it by lines doi. Total length rn: 828 lines!!!
which means I’m more than halfway done unless the average canto length is greater than 26 stanzas (234 lines). Canto1 is the only one I think is totally finished and it’s 20 stanzas (180 lines). (Which I think has to be the minimum number for any of the cantos. Partially because the corresponding music is the shortest piece on the first tape. But I think it makes sense given the content of the cantos as well. You’ll see.)
c2 has 198 lines and still needs at least 54 more. c4 is virtually finished, has 225 lines right now, and I think could be totally complete with just 27 more, or possibly 36. None of the other cantos in book 1 will be longer than those two, I think. c4 has the longest corresponding music, but it’s possible none of the ones in the middle will correspond in this way
Here are some other poem lengths, for reference:
The Four Zoas, “around 4000″ Erec & Enide, 6962 Nibelungenlied, 9516 (i think?) Paradise Lost, 10,550 Inferno, 14,233 Jerusalem Delivered, 15,336 Don Juan, “around 16k but unfinished” New Kalevala, 22,795 Orlando Furioso, 38,736
Get over your embarrassment, for you have come from a state of utter ignorance. Everyone should be embarrassed, therefore, no one should. Keep progressing and stumbling, that is what matters.
