Eclipsa made a spell that can kill septarians but gave moon a variant created with the intent to crumple but store the body of the killed in the wand. (When moon is casting the spell, Toffee doesn’t recognise it. When his finger is shot off it disappears, but moon is storing the finger in a little bottle. The finger had to be reattached to regrow proper ). It does kill the target, but they can be restored.

Eclipsa would HAVE to actually interact with monsters and test how true she is to her word and toffee would have to show bits of what he knows and show his true self a bit. Overall they would be constantly forcing eachother to show themselves a bit.
