Diaspora: what an energizing morning speaking to a delegation of incredible business people from 17 African nations plus Haiti, on *Practical Tips for Succeeding in the US Market,* organized by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, World Chicago, and the US Department of State! 🌎 I brought bean-to-bar chocolate representing the African diaspora for everyone to taste: #amanochocolate made in the US from Madagascar cacao, #solsticechocolate made in the US from Uganda cacao, #originalbeans made in Switzerland from Democratic Republic of Congo cacao, and #askanyachocolate made in Haiti from Haiti cacao! All such a hit! 💙 Moreover, one gentleman turned out to be a dear friend of the founder of #CREERAfrica, the Cote d'Ivoire rescue center that helps formerly trafficked kids and to which my business donates a meal for every tour ticket and subscription box sold! Le monde est petit - it's a small world! 🌐 And yes I said some words in French to our mixed francophone - anglophone audience, but I also let the awesome simultaneous translators do their job as people listened through earpieces; it felt like being at the United Nations! :) 💝 A meaningful morning of #upliftthroughchocolate!
