solsonorousâ
Solarâs fingers were curled around her guitar case before she swung the instrument over her shoulder expertly. Balancing on the balls of her feet she let her body move forward then backwards before letting out a small hum. Tilting her head the woman proceeded to observe the tall male. His features were sharp but they were slightly blurred out by the alcoholâs presence. The substance did that to people just how the wind manages to soften up the edges of the toughest rock. Â You look trustworthy.
Solar was trustworthy. Oh yes, that she was. She wouldnât do anything to harm the man. But now the question hung in the air inverted: Was the man himself worthy of her own trust?
âWhat if youâre the maniac whoâs trying get me to the place you call home but itâs really a trap?â The female chimed, her birdy tone being exhaled with her voice as she continued to slightly toy with the gravity.
Itâs a question he didnât expect, but definitely one thatâs able to bring a sloppy grin to his pink lips that lifted flushed cheeks and shaped narrow eyes into slits. He lifts a hand, index finger jutted out while it wagged back and forth--a clear indication as to his disapproval of her lack of trust in him. By all means, he would never expect a woman to help a stranger, a man at that, to a remote location where her wellbeing might be at risk, but did he really look like he could do much harm?Â
Granted he stood taller than her with a stocky figure, heâd always believed his mildly rounded facial features gave him a more approachable, pleasant look than when he had a little less meat on his bones. Men really never gave women a reason to trust them anyway, no matter how innocent or kind they looked, he figured.
âTrust me. There are many more things I want to do with my life, like eat an entire chocolate cake in one sitting. I wouldnât throw such an opportunity away to...what...kill you...?â He spoke entirely playfully, smile still fixated upon his face and a chipper tone in his voice. Alcohol always made him much giddier than usual.
âMy phone is just dead and I canât call my fiance to pick me up. Pleeease?â
