Introducing my thesis film project: ‘SolSet’!
Hi!! I’m very happy to announce the project I’ve been working on. It’s called SolSet, an animated short film about some of my characters’ backstories.
It was originally meant to be a single-volume comic, but thanks to the advice of some friends, I decided to turn it into my thesis film! Which means, it might not be approved, but even if it isn’t, I plan on completing it anyways!
Here’s the cover + back cover I made for the comic back in May:
And here’s the synopsis as well:
“SolSet tells the story of young Luana living with her parents, who have freshly moved out of England to Brazil. She has everything she could wish for, coming from a rich family. However, her fate drastically changes when a young orphan shows up at their doorstep during a heavy storm.”
I’ll be posting concept art on my blog whenever I can, and if the project is indeed approved, I’ll create an account solely for it!
Keep in mind that the film is targeted towards 16+ audiences and contains heavy themes regarding: gore, violence, trauma and death, while the film’s genres are drama, psychological horror and thriller.
Thank you for reading and, as always, I’m grateful for all of the support I’ve been getting!
