#Easterweekend I’m utterly confused at what Easter is now. First it was about Jesus resurrection. And then it was about going to church ⛪ if you usually don’t go. And then it was about a Bunny 🐰. Whoa. Wait. Jesus to a Rabbit. I looked it up. Germans brought it over in 1700s with their tradition of rabbits 🐇 and their eggs. Wait. Do rabbits lay eggs 🥚??? No. But they told a story that they do. So kids colored the “rabbit eggs” BC rabbits mate a lot and multiply and were a symbol of fertility. 🐰 rabbit hares are one Few animals that can still conceive a SECOND LITTER while still pregnant with the first. Can you imagine a Rabbit in the Maury Povich show? “You are not the father! Oh Wait, you are. Many times.” Whatever happened to the egg hunt? Now it’s just a huge EGG GRAB. Kids! Jesus was raised from the dead. Get your Candy!!! Rabbits mate A lot!!! Santa Claus 🎅 makes some sense. And With kids I honestly feel way more of a Christian spirit during Halloween 🎃 the “evil” day for Christians. At least you meet all your neighbors. Imagine going around and knocking on your neighbors doors 🚪 on Easter and saying Happy Easter in a bunny outfit. They would think you’re Crazy. 🐣🐰🐇 Still though, we had a good time. I was proud of #SollyKim. He knew how to just have fun with it all. 😎 and I guess that’s what it’s all about now. My wife has a much better attitude about it all. It’s for the kids.
