Fun Facts from the bands that didn't make it - Highlights
So yeah, adding that fun facts was one of my best ideas yet :D. Figured I'd share some favourites from the bands who aren't in a current bracket.
I - Solarcycles
I saw Blackbriar and was like I have to check this out. And yeah, worth it. Shout out to whoever submitted this, Solarcycles earned a new fan on the day I wrote this. Additionally, I reckon I'll keep doing these fun facts highlights in future - submit those small bands :D
p.s. is Blackbriar folk?
II - Finntroll
Because everything in Finland has to be connected. Small country. Also, they're one of the few bands to sing in FinnishSwedish, which is neat.
III - Feuerschwanz
If I remember correctly, these guys where the first to get multiple submissions - and they're pretty fun. I'm of the opinion that metal is always at least a bit silly. Or has great potential to be. Love some silly metal - with a silly name.
Bonus - From yours truly: SkΓ‘lmΓΆld
Because, gods I love this band yet I've never met anyone else who's ever heard of them. Is it a foreign language thing? I personally would almost always rather hear someone sing in their native language than English, even if I don't understand them because of it- though in my experience this is an uncommon opinion.
