#sol bufo

so in my head, we have Orpheus!Sol, Eurydice!Callie, and UndergroundWorker!Calder

I figured Sol for Orpheus (rather than Callie the bard lol) as he's got the boyish loverboy charm Orpheus had. and I do so love his frog song :3

Callie would take Eurydice's position, having left her family's smuggling business and being on the run since. when she goes down to the underworld, I like the idea that she'd turn into a winter eladrin to counteract the heat (and as a representation of her despair)

while Sol travels to the underworld, he meets up with Calder, a worker on the wall who he charms out of his amnesia. Calder being a worker made sense to me cuz of his time trapped in the helm 🙂‍↕️. the two bond while Calder leads Sol to where Eurydice would be in the underworld
