Somn corrupts aus by converting them w/ ideologies, results in complete negativity covering the entire au (or a portion of it) when the conversion is done. Ink & Error initially work together to "clean up" said corruption by basically recycling the au's code, both get a part out of it (creation/destruction). Eventually Ink meets a swap sans varient who helps him clean up these aus alongside Error. One day while looking through au's to find any partial corruption, Ink finds the dreamtale au that Somn is from. This is where he meets Sol, who had been in the statue state for 200 years, he ends up freeing him & thats where im stuck atm. Gonna sit on this current idea bc ive been meaning to figure out what i genuinley want to do w/ Inborn besides the dynamic between Somn & Lily (stupid name, i know, i made that character when i was 9 & im too sentimental to change it)

Oh & lily basically ends up being the 'face' of Somn's operations bc of her approachability(she presents as human, humans are more easily converted than monsters in this universe so she's put out there to make it seem more safe or something idk) i will go more into this soon

& yes i do! Honestly i love all of them depending on the day, but the twins are usually at the top

Both of them are very very different from standard dreamtale, or dreamtale variants in general because of views on life & whatnot.. idk i love them alot lmao

The most similar they are to the original dreamtale is honestly just the fact that theyre connected to overall emotions & the tree itself.. & that theyre twins but that's about it, the corruption event for Somn (nightmare variant) is much much different, his child self goes through a completely different set of experiences than that of passive nightmare, no bullied to desth thing actually! What happened was lowk his gault but shhh

Sol (dream variant), once again, pretty different from a dream variant in my opinion just bc of how he views what had happened, what happened to Somn etc.. but uh yeah

Somn is also a cultist so haha much different line of work than a typical nightmare- he focuses on different aspects of corruption rather than full on negativity cuz hes just egotistical, not an edgelord lol (i dont even think egotistical is the right word, he thinks highly of his beliefs & genuinley views them as truth but he's still an ass)

I wouldnt say Sol is avoidant to positivity, but rather he tries to avoid that aspect of his purpose (..he'll come to it eventually) & mostly tries to get rid of Somn's weird ass critters that cause aus to whither away by working with others from certain aus, whole thing working towards corruption revision with uhh several other characters!..

Also Somn & Sol arent.. really sanses?? I dont even think theyre technically monsters, they dont have normal souls, they wouldnt dust, hell they dont even refer to souls as souls where theyre from 😭 the only thing really connecting them to this utmv at all is the connection to positive/negative purity & the fact that the religion they grew up around is based upon save star stuff.. hejrkrbtb
