Yes!!! The bbc has several farm series and they are all very excellent. the hosts are (usually; i recall a season or two when i think alex wasn’t part of the cast) two archaeologists and a historian who live for a year on a farm emulating a certain period. one of the hosts is ruth goodman who i adore

Def call the sys admin, if you can’t root then there may be a limit to what you can do

do you know what sort of system this is? I’m most familiar with linux. If you do have the ability to root, you could possibly kill those other user sessions. If you have a pass you enter when you log in under your user then i wonder if these are just old sessions that weren’t closed?
it’s a linux system. It’s a school server, and i don’t think i’m supposed to do anything as root. they probably are sessions i didn’t close properly; i’m using putty to log onto the server, and it keeps freezing, so i’ve closed and reopened the window without logging off a couple of times.
