There were too many people that the Farstrider needed to have words with and at first she honestly thought, that maybe, letters would be easier than having to speak face to face. But as the days passed on by and her schedule became busier than ever before; everything was pushed aside. So what once started out as a few letters to around three people at first eventually turned into a pile of ten or more in due time.

Each envelope sealed, addressed to all those that lurked within her heart on a daily basis for better or for worse; however.. nothing left the apartment and she acknowledged her lack of communication with a heavy heart while eyeing the stack of unspoken words nearby.

Something was off about the girl, strange really. For months on end the huntress had done so well with sticking to her word, kept a strict schedule and followed it to a t. But now? Inside something stirred, having left Zala feeling unsettled, unwanted to a degree and though on the outside she appeared perfect; a silent battle of issues went on within herself.

“Doesn’t matter anyways, it’s been.. how long? Fuck it.”

The stack of loving words, apologies and much more were suddenly grabbed by what seemed to be frustration from Zalandrissas part. Crinkled and bent, the envelopes would soon be sacrificed to a nearby candle flame and then chucked into the sink to avoid any large fire, once the burning parchment became too much.

Something was wrong and though it might have been best to reach out to another, instead, the girl stood in silence and watched the papers burn until they turned to ash.There was no emotion to be found on her face, no anger to be had, just the slightest movement of her hand that jerked open the nearest kitchen drawer; one full of utensils.

It seemed old habits were just too hard to kick.
