Oh I feel this. Our cats have completely ruined their cat trees. Itās like they have vomit parties when weāre not around.
Thankfully I have mats down on the one cat tree I have (theyāre self heating mats so thereās a bit of mylar on the inside which helps the puke from seeping through). I bought a really good waterproof mattress protector when I purchased my new one so hopefully thatās OK for awhile (although if I wake up hearing the cat-about-to-ralph noise, I try to get him off the bed).Ā I donāt mind cleaning it up off of the carpet.Ā Itās just the fish...the fish stinks even worse coming back up lol.

my littlest cat used to do that all the time. what brand do you give him? little cat can only stand sheba's beef and chicken flavors. the rest makes her tummy hurt :c
Itās Mikoās Tuna and Tilapia (itās one of Chewy.comās in house brands).Ā Heās had it at least 12 other times since it comes in the variety pack I get.Ā Heās not a huge eater, but occasionally heāll decide he has to binge his food -- usually I can slow it down because he wants to drink all the juice first then come back later for the meat, so I just give him a little more water poured in his dish, but this time he decided to be a goblin, inhale too much all at once, then regurgitate it shortly after on the bedroom carpet.
I know when heās going to be sick sick because something doesnāt physically agree with him (like he has a hairball or he ate a leaf I tracked in, etc) because he does this whole howling thing before puking. With eating too quickly, he burps once or twice, spews, then looks at me as if to sayĀ āOops!āĀ Iām fairly lucky in that he has quite the cast iron stomach as far as cat food goes and will eat just about anything.
