Great news on sweet Joy! She's finally decided she is no longer afraid of Marley, and she's also started to approach us for cuddles! Previously we would cuddle but it was always initiated by me and she was always a bit nervous at first. Now when we go in her room she walks over and rubs against us asking for some love! I just knew behind the shy exterior was a sweet lady wanting to be loved on! Meet Joy! Our newest foster is a little different than usual in that she is fully adoption ready but needs a little socialization to help her find her forever home! We don't know why Joy is so scared of people, as she grew up in a foster home where her mama and siblings were all very friendly, but sweet Joy is just too nervous. We have a small space set up for her and are getting her quietly used to us as we work on letting her know that people don't have to be scary!
