LESS IS MORE!
If you want to play professional soccer, spend less time learning useless fancy freestyle juggling or dribbling tricks, and spend more time learning simple principles of soccer and movement.
In fact, most pro and high level soccer games and competitions are play and won with very simple techniques execute at a master level (better timing, precision and speed). Furthermore, most street real games are play under challenging or really close conditions to make winning or losing more interesting and what is at stake is your honour and dignity, so street players actually tent to simplify even more to get the winning goal and to be the king of the court.
In competitions like the Champions League and the World Cup you very rarely see a “fancy” technique that leads to a win, but for the most Pro soccer players tend to use the same basic, simple techniques. In a competitive game attributes like speed, timing, and perception have more to do with winning than the actual techniques used.
There are basic laws of physics that always apply and a handful of guiding principles that will get you through just about any scenario. Learn those lifeskills principles through the game of soccer and your decision making will happen faster making you a more effective and efficient soccer player. When you decide faster, you can move faster. The faster you move, the less time for the other team or player to react. I do not know about you, but when playing soccer catching off guard and unbalanced the opponents is really high on my list of priorities. As a matter of fact, when you are playing soccer this way, you are responding and adapting to your opponents moves and strategies, your are not choosing what to do, your opponent is choosing for you.
