āSky and legend thisā āwars and wild thatā
Give me Wild and Legend bonding
Give legend and wild talking about how both of their families is directly connected to the knights of hyrule
Give me legend talking to wild about his lineage, how the knights in his time may of once been great but now cowardly and worthless to the kingdom. How they locked their own princess up, how easily they were possessed. Let legend tell wild about his family tree and how his uncle was a knight and how he died at the beginning of ALttP!
Give me Wild talking to legend about how he doesnāt remember very much of his time as knight but knows that he once was. And from Zelda he knows that his dad was knight, and that he didnāt have much of a choice to be a knight. Prodigy or not!
Let them bond over the fact both of them were children when they first got the master sword.
Please!!! This is such an underrated duo. So much potential with the two of them

Yāall might hate me but the way I see it in LU is that both Wars and Wild would the medics in a way.
Let me explain
Wars; was literally in a war were he most likely have to of known basic principles of medicine at the very least. Possibly was a temporary field medic during the war. And thatās just from the war itself, we donāt actually KNOW what life was like before for wars. Maybe he came from a family of nurses or apothecaries.
Now for the controversial
Wild; now at frost it wouldnāt make sense but please let me explain.
Wild would be one of the medics BECAUSE heās had the most experience being injured. It is common belief within the fandom and comic that Wild is irrational (and Wild within battle) and gets injured a decent bit, but that is the current.
I want you to think about how Jojo has written Wilds backstory within LU. From what I understand he had to start from scratch with everything. HE HAD TO RELEARN WHAT IT MEANT TO BE HUMAN AND ALIVE.
He probably had gotten numerous injuries just from the great plateau and even then it was just a small fraction of his adventure.
One characteristic about Links in general is the ability to will themselves though tragedy and harm and Wild is no exception. Knowing that there is a high probability that Wild went though his adventure somewhat injured constantly. Most likely minor injuries and ones that wouldnāt hinder his ability to fight but enough to hurt and be painful.
Another point about the āstarting and learning to liveā is the aspect that some common sense things for most people wild just didnāt know.
The best way to show this is an example
Say someone was set on fire by a Wizrob and now has severe burns on one of their legs?
Wild whoās experienced extreme burns during his adventure (because he didnāt actually know that Lava was the hot thing in death mountain) knows
A) what the person is going though (empathy). The way that this would be helpful is if the person is unconscious or is unable to communicate what their feelings outside a basic burn.
B) know how the treat the injury in a way that would allow the person to still be able to move/ use the injured part to a degree. And he knows how to use the stuff that they have with them the help. Thereās somethingās that would be helpful but are in a completely different area or region.
In this example Wild (bc heās gotten injured so much) is able to help communicate and heal the injury. And help in a way that others might not.
And thatās not even talking about the fact about the fact that Wild seems to be the main cook of the group (given thatās his nickname) and he can cook various potions, especially for willpower/ strength (stamina/green) and health/ healing (healing/red).
Bc of these facts shown I do believe that Wild will become the main assistant to whoeverās the medic (most likely Wars due to actual medical experience).
And the question of āwouldnāt Hyrule be apart the medic gang?ā And my answer would be on the spectrum of āunlikely to unless the person is dyingā bc of his powers but that a whole other post that im too tired to make rn.( but will if yāall want)
And keep in mind that fact that every Link in the chain has been injured before, has taken care of it (probably by themselves), and has survived.
Meaning that The Med Crew tm wouldnāt immediately be needed unless the person is unconscious, struck in a Vidal area or disabled bc the injury.
Examples; extreme concussion, struck in the chest/ abdomen, broken leg, is unconscious etc which can all happen whilst fighting.
And really everything is conditional. Each Link will respond to the injuries and wounds of the others in their own ways due to many things including there experience.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk, lmao
Please note that these are not all my thoughts, I have so much more especially about dynamics within the chain. And even more with Wars and Wild, omg when that update comes out if them two. I wonāt stop yapping.
My maga relatives gettting mad at the Euro to USD exchange rate is really funny. Like one of them was upset based on the principle of the USD being less then 1:1 w the Euro. And theyāre genuinely acting confused about it. Like bro you see what Trumps doing, the current administration.
Thereās something weird about being some what removed from the whole ābrain rot, end of thought, intellectual crisisā especially when it ļæ¼about teenagers. As I, myself, am I high school.
Iāve seen many videos from people my age, teachers and parents on how teenagers arenāt using critical thinking, how brain rot has taken over and how society is getting dumber. While Iāve experienced also the opposite when Iāve been in school (Iām American).
I have always seen myself as ābehindā in terms of education/āsmartnessā. Comparing myself to other students in my grade. How they were more advanced and scoring higher on tests we were all taking. While I was also one (1) year advanced in math and in honors. There has always kids in more honors classes (English, science, world languages) and scoring higher in those classes.
This has always had a negative effect on me. Specifically in English class. It wasnāt till the second semester of freshman year that I was moved up to honors English, via a recommendation from my English 9 lit teacher.
While in regular English 9 I did see some of the behavior that is associated with ābrain rot and the death of critical thinkingā yes but it also was more tamer then what Iāve heard stories of. 1) this is not meant to deny anyoneās experience in public education 2) I did have English as first period which started at 8:30 am, so the experience couldāve of been tamer because there wasnāt energy to act out.
In English 9 lit I also had stood out as a ābetterā student. I didnāt need to work as hard as some of peers to understand ( one of reasons I felt left out of honors), and the teacher at least acted less concerned about my availability to due assignments. Compared to how Iāve seen him work with other students, he more had the expectation that I understand how to do the assignment and either didnāt turn it in ( literally having the whole assignment done in time but forgetting to turn it in) rather then some students needing extra help to understand. 1) this is not a dis on my peers for needing help/ not having āthe same level of intelligenceā as me. The general vibe of the class was āitās too tired to read Shakespeareā and ā I donāt even want to be hereāļæ¼
After that the teacher had recommended me for honors and I moved up to honors in the second semester. There I felt a different vibe, there I wasnāt the āsmartestā kid in the class. I almost felt behind from some of peers for no reason. The semester came and went. That was last year.
And as weāve seen especially with the integration in Ai into daily life more and more and in schools. Iāve seen the brainrot in a different way.
( quick explanation of how my school does English classes) as a freshman you only have two options for English. English 9 or English 9 honors, but it really comes down to the classes you took in 7 and 8th grade. Then for 10th grade again itās English 10 or English 10 honors( considered a pre-AP course. For non-Americans, AP/ advanced placement or college/university level classes that a high schooler can take for college credit.) then for 11 and 12th students can choose from a lot of different English classes as long as by the end of senior year they have all the required credits.
So in 10th grade/ sophomore year we read 4 different books for Eng 10 honors. Macbeth, the importantance of being earnest, pride and prejudice and 1984.
As a sophomore we just finished our 1984 unit. And our teacher choose to do a socratic seminar as our unit test grade. Due to reasons I had missed the day for it. And had come in for a make up Socratic seminar with others who also missed it. So instead of 20-30 students in one discussion, there was 9.
And then we had a discussion about 1984. What the book was about and how it relates to today. How Orwell presented WW2 and the effects of censorship. And ,most importantly, how language affects thoughts and actions.
Was it a great discussion, idk, this is my second Socratic Seminar Iāve ever done. I donāt have a reference for good or bad ones. But me and my peers were actively trying. Making connections, using textual evidence to prove theories/ ideas we had, piggybacked off of ideas and added on to them. Two of major things we brought up was 1) how language is used in the book, how characters use language and how that changed throughout and followed the narrative and 2) how Winston (the mc) was misogynistic and the effects of that though the book and his relationship with Oābrain. And how he was feminized into submission via methods used in the 18 and 1900s (no atonomy, gaslitten, lobotomies etc) and how Oābrain, the party and the brotherhood acted. ļæ¼
We the students connected it the Epstein files and history and the law and war crimes. We asked each other questions that have noā trueā answers but are important to the story. Like one that was asked was ācould the war end/ what would happen if the disputed territories were won over?ā
Which turned into āwhat is the true nature of the warā which got to the conclusion of that there isnāt a full on WW but smaller more controlled battles for the party to use to control the citizens.
It may if not been a great discussion but was an attempt at the very least. We were respectful, being able to add on to ideas and listen to other people. We at least attempted critical thought. Trying to find the meaning of something using text and historical context and evidence.
While Iāve been reflecting on it the pass couple days the thing that has been bothering me is in the context of my school and the Socratic seminar. I live a relatively wealthier area of my state. With high property tax and decent public schools, wjere the schools are college prep school that focus on education. Most of peers have not been under or just above the poverty line or worried about the next meal. And where education is valued and encouraged.
The juxtaposition having this good discussion and relating it to irl events and politics while knowing that this a very small regional specific event scares and saddens me. Other student donāt get the chance to have this. Because of reason not their own.

My family is watching a football player greatest hits named Louis? Theyāre saying fuck ya when ever he hits a person. This is very concerning, why is it American to tmlaugh and yell when someone breaks a caller bone, when someone is hurt. Maybe this is why America is so bad. We teach since childhood that pain and suffering is not only ok but the best way to go at things within life. Even worse my younger 9y/o brother is watching, he is too young to understand what the severity of what their saying means. He doesnāt understand what is wrong with what theyāre saying.
