So the line "Sheād been coping perfectly well with having a walking wet dream for a partner, thank you very much" from "how long will i love you? as long as the stars are above you (and longer if i can)" is near and dear to my heart. This fic was the first of yours that I read, and one of the first I read in the fandom. The line *definitely* made me laugh aloud, it was such an unexpected joy. It so perfectly conveys how Chloe believes she's doing, the miraculous stubborn delight that she is.

As long as the stars are above you (and longer if I can) is such a sweet little fic, but there are some funny moments. I also really like when Chloe sort of interrogates Amenadiel and he just folds under her glare :D
For your post asking about favorite stories, I have to highlight two, both from Lucifer. "Changes" as a fellow ace is so great. I love that this show, you, and other Lucifans seem to be directly combating the "sex is universally everyone's biggest desire" assumption. Representation matters. Also, I cherish "In the Beginning..." and BAMF Chloe Decker. I really hope we get some God/NeilGaiman in S5, but if not, this'll be enough to keep me contented. I adore the Dad-Lucifer-Chloe dynamic, ugh.
Going back to this after the Great Asexuality Ask thing is really interesting. Changes was just pulled out of me one day (I think as I was contemplating Lucifer attending a pride parade) and the response to it has been very gratifying. It was written by ace, for ace, and Iām glad that so many have found it and vibed with its message. (I have since come out to my parents as both bi and asexual and it was fairly well received, so yay!)Ā
As forĀ āIn the Beginningā, I remember being very unnerved that a lot of the discourse surrounding the AU episode seemed to center around God actually wanting what was best for Lucifer and completely ignoring Luciferās feelings, so I wanted to have Chloe give him what for. I loved getting to work through what I thoughtĀ His justification would be, as well as plotting out a vague adventure where the prime and AU verses meet. I have to say itās one of my favourites too, and Iām always happy to hear there are people who agree with my thoughts on the matter. :)Ā
