Soaps- soaps is 9 years old (almost) he's got Auburn hair, brown eyes and a face full of freckles. He's very small for his age. He got his name because he once bit a bar of soap (no one knows whether it was a dare or an accident he won't tell anyone) and hiccuped bubbles for two days. He follows jack around like a lost puppy and he's really just a little ball of sunshine. He wouldn't hurt a fly. (But he hates spot for a reason no one knows) he has a brother in Brooklyn that he visits weekly.

Mary- Mary is 16 years old with long brown hair and blue eyes. Her family owns a bakery. She has one older brother and a younger brother and sister. She earned the nickname flour from the time she dropped a whole sack of flour over her head and coated herself in flour. She became a newsie when her mother died and they needed more income than the bakery could provide. After getting close with the newsies she often gives them boxes full of desserts that were to be thrown out. Me and my friends ship her with finch and tbh those two complete each other. Mary is a voice of reason and she's a sweetheart! But her older brother trained her in self defence so she also takes 0 b. S.

Blue- blue tbh is a trooper. He's 12 years old and he has a one year old brother named puddles whom he is taking care of on his own. His parents were killed in a trolley accident. He has scars he'd rather not discuss. He wears a blue bandana around his neck that he only wears because it keeps puddles busy and comforts him when he's sad. (Likes to play with it. It's soft.) Hes from midtown and gets into a lot of fights with school boys who can't watch their mouths. (Has been to the refuge because of it) he's way too grown up for his age. He's got bright blue eyes and brown messy hair. Love him.

Flyer - ah my boy. He's from Boston! He has one leg (listen to shipping up to Boston) which is the result of a trolley incident. He was trolley hopping and he got his leg caught under it. He also has burn scars covering his body because of the house fire that killed his parents. He has a service dog named ducky whom he would die for. He's the leader of the Boston newsies and he loves his kids. He's 16, and was born in Scotland. He speaks Scottish Gaelic. He wears a locket with his mothers picture in it (total mamma's boy) and sends letters to his grandmother who's still in Scotland!
