Bruh let people have their fun, no one *legit* thinks it's canon, a large part of fandom culture is coming up with 'evidence', reading between the lines, imagining 'what-if' scenarios etc. No need for the condescension lmao

So the posts in the thor ragnarok tag, long damn essays, describing how it is Canon (not just having fun with it by writing “what if” scenarios or fanfic or just headcanons, but actual Canon) are just everyone just pretending to think its canon? 

Is it really condescension if all I’m doing is taking those posts seriously rather than think them fantasies?  It’s hard to actually discuss the actual goddamn movie and what actually goddamn happened between the lines if people are just making shit up to fit their headcanons XD. And that’s the thing. It’s fine if its a HEADCANON that’s why the word exists. But people aren’t using that term. They are legit making the film fit their ideas and fantasies.  And it’s fine for them, but not so fine when you actually want to discuss the film as it IS rather than what people want it to BE. (And again, it’s that whole SEX obsession about any two characters looking at each other, especially if they’re the same gender, that bugs the hell out of me in fandom). 

If you mean the avenger defense that comes up when you get hit by a UFO, we had... two or three shots on some of our soldiers? but got out of it with no problem. :)
