respectable Naruto fans: it’s not really fishnets that they’re all wearing that wouldn’t make any sense: it’s a super lightweight armor, like a sort of chainmail, probably made of metal or synthetic wire, or maybe even carbon nanotubes — OR alternatively a conductive medium they channel their chakra through to create an energy barrier close to the skin
