MY OPINION!! So no HATE!!
I'm so proud for Girls' Generation of winning the 2013 "Video fo the Year" for "I Got A Boy." I was shocked that they won against top artists such Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and One Direction. While I was smiling, I see many haters from fans of Justin Bieber and One Direction.
I was laughing my ass off when the fans keep on hating Girls' Generation like this fan,
oh yes,YTMAwards, you handle that well like a boss (well to me they did lol) Just SUCK IT UP. If you don't know the group then don't even bother call them stupid or anything else. In fact, you should be amazed that they're won as a KPOP artist/Asian Artist. Well, actually you should be shocked cause you just got PWNED by kpop fans all over the world!! (oh yeah!!)
And gosh to other non-kpop fans, spell their name right! It's "GIRLS' GENERATION!" They are "group of ladies" not "chinks" or "chicks!" And they are not Chinese or Japanese, they are KOREANS! They are KPOP Artists! And I'm proud of them for winning that awards, still shocked, but heck I was speechless and so happy for them!
So beware non-kpop fans because KPOP is growing. (muhahaha)

There are so many choices for this one! Parts of Into the New World almost were chosen, but this has always been the part that has stuck out the most for me in the girl's songs. It fits in so well with the flow of the song. At the same time, at least from this guy's perspective, it feels like she's singing right directly to you with the lyrics. Even though it's Taeyeon's solo part, all the girl's have been singing in the first person the whole time, so it's like all nine of them are solidified in this request. I love it.

Yes. As it says in bold up there, I'm ashamed of what my first impression of the group was. I wasn't immediately sold, and kind of wrote them off as another bubblegum pop group. My first song was Gee from the girls, so of course it was a very pop-y song. Changing my mind and deciding to give them another chance is one of the best decisions I've made. I see now how wrong I was, that this isn't just some girl group. These nine young ladies are something amazing that I'm glad I've had become part of my life. I've never been this involved in a fandom before. I love that their music, their Soshi Bond, and even their individuality has brought me to where I am now. I AM A SONE. Based off of my first impression, I wouldn't have thought it possible. I've never been happier to have been wrong.

Day 1: Your first bias: Yuri Day 2: The first song you heard: Gee
The first SNSD song I heard was Gee. I happened to be going around on youtube looking at J-Rock and J-Pop videos and saw the link. I clicked on it, and as much as it appalls me to say it now, I was not immediately won over. This music was very different than most stuff I listened to, plus it was in K-Pop(which to that point I had never ventured into). Then something strange happened. Despite my not initially liking it, I kept on going back and watching the video. There was something a bit different about these 9 girls that was drawing me in. It eventually got to the point where I was watching that one video multiple times a day. I finally took a deep breath and searched for their other songs. I have never looked back.
Can't wait for this! The new songs sound interesting and I'm especially interested in hearing the full version of Hoot in Japanese!
