Tomorrow is Maki-mun’s Birthday!
Since we’re shit poor, we’re not going out to celebrate (at least not alone, we may be dragged out to dinner by her papa). We’re gonna celebrate with you guys! We’ll be streaming sometime around noon and it’ll be a Maki’s choice day~ She’ll be picking the games we play.
Be sure to come and support her, and wish her a happy 23rd birthday! Also, go ahead and flood her submit and inbox with videos and gifs of turtles eating stuff and cockatoos goofing off! It’ll really make her happy, and she needs the stress-relief :3
On another note, our 24-hour charity stream (held here) is coming up really soon! It’s happening on the 12th-13th of March. We’d love to see you all there, and it’d really help us out if you could spread the word and get your friends to join as well. Maki will post a reminder closer to the date, letting everyone know what time we’re planning to start too.
We’ll be trying our best to raise money for the Extra Life foundation, and the donations will specifically be going to support the children at the Toronto SickKids Hospital! This is very important to me personally, as many of you know already. My late brother was diagnosed with Kostmann’s Syndrome at birth and spent most of his life there. He passed away when I was 5, at the age of 6. The date for the start of the stream is his birthday, March 12th, and it would mean so much to me just to see people tuning in to support us. Even if you don’t donate, just being there and getting our message out will help immensely! A special thanks goes out to all who showed up to our streams and helped us raise money for Extra Life last year too!
@snowymaki playing with FaceRig while on call with me is a blessing from the heavens. When she enabled cross-eye tracking, it wouldn’t stop going cross-eyed and this proves that Maki is a cross-eyed little baby, like a Siamese kitten or something. ... and as I typed this up, she put a crown on the kitten she had as a face. What a dramatic little brat, bless her heart.
