5 ⧽. is there a certain kind of fic that feels the most satisfying to finish? any reason why?

fics that don't follow episodes or books, i think. Like, my doctor who fic uses the transcripts bc it's following canon so closely, and my harry potter fic was following the first book canon fairly closely, so they were way easier to write bc the majority of the chapters were already there, if that makes sense. The fics I've written for modern!evan and the one shots I've written for got were way more satisfying because the plots and dialogue came entirely from my own brain.

Favorite fic I've written so far is probably actually my doctor who fic lol. I haven't updated the sequel in years, but the first book in that series is the first fic I ever completed and that just kind of makes it special, you know? Second favorite is probably the modern evan au, i love him so much.

idea for a fic i haven't written yet but really want to, probably Cry Havoc! I have so many ideas for Aspen and her story and I want to write it so bad, but i have too many wips already lol and also i don't know that i can do the idea in my head justice, yknow?
