Now playing: Elvis Presley - Can't Help Falling in Love
Sylus' hands were a gentle weight on your waist, comforting, grounding.
The apartment was quiet, engulfed in the tender peacefulness of night. Dinner was done and eaten. The dishes done and in the cabinets. Shower taken and comfortable clothes on.
And Sylus' body was warm against yours.
From the corner of the kitchen came the mellow sound of deep vocals, wrapped in piano notes and accompanied by percussion instruments. It came from your little speaker, not from his vintage, perfectly kept gramophones but it served its purpose.
Slowly, you swayed to the rhythm of the song, from side to side, with your head nestled right against his chest.
Your weary bones rested right onto his, seeking the comfort and support you knew he'd always, always offer.
The day weighed upon your shoulders but right there and then, nothing mattered but the warmth of Sylus' body and the song you swayed to.
You opened your mouth to sing along with it. Sylus pressed a kiss to the top of your head, with a breathy little chuckle.
Suddenly, you were aware of another presence, another set of eyes on you.
Zayne leaned on the doorframe, hair damp from the shower and unstyled, wearing the cozy pajamas you'd gifted him a while ago. And the gentlest smile graced his lips, the most tender look curved his eyes as he gazed upon the two of you; Sylus and you.
You kept swaying and singing, reaching out a hand towards your hazel eyed lover. A quiet chuckle escaped him but he stepped into the kitchen.
Sylus allowed you to turn in his hands, back pressed to his chest, his strong arms circling your waist. And Zayne's face came right into your outstretched hands, fitting right between your palms. He nuzzled his nose against yours as you sang of how somethings are just meant to be.
Sylus slotted his chin on the curve of your shoulder with a sigh. Not of boredom, not of exasperation but of pure love, overwhelming affection. Like his body was expelling all and any remaining tension now that both his lovers were in his presence.
Zayne started swaying to the song with the two of you. You saw his hands move by the corner of your eye, resting on Sylus' arms. You heard the movement, the rustle of fabric under bare skin as he ran his fingers up and down their extent.
Sylus smiled against your shoulder.
And you stood right there, the three of you, slowly swaying to the mellow rhythm of the song, in concord with the lyrics. Until the song changed and the lyrics shifted but you made no motion to move. Zayne's hands kept trailing up and down Sylus’ arms, in that same gentle cadence, while you hummed along to another song, forehead resting against his.

Suddenly, Big Boss Man was standing up in alert, and Mr. Accomplished Doctor was coaxing you to bed with gentle words.
And while both Zayne and you were all ready for bed, Sylus wasn't. He'd stayed hovering around in your orbit from the second he set foot in Zayne's apartment; drinking in his lovers’ presence, feeding off your effortless charms, basking in the act of just being.
Zayne ushered him off to shower.
And he did go, but not until he stole a kiss from the both of you, a tender little peck from both mouths. Which he took with him, cradled within his heart with the utmost care, their tenderness tugging the line of his lips into a foolish lovesick curve.
“That fool,” Zayne murmured next to you, in flustered exasperation, barely hiding a smile of his own.
He took Sylus’ spot behind you, slipping his arms around your waist, nuzzling right into your neck for its warmth and the scent of your skin.
With a kiss to your jaw, he coaxed you to bed and off you went, padding off to the bedroom, still in that same position, waddling like two penguins because he refused to let go.
And while the sheets were cold, Zayne was warm. He smelled of clean laundry and body wash and toothpaste and himself. He let you rest on his lap while you waited for Sylus, scrolling on your phone for just a little, showing him videos you'd saved to show him later.
Sylus had stayed up the whole day, so he could be within your time zone; Zayne and yours. He hadn't said a word but you'd noticed the weariness within his bones.
Now freshly showered, white hair damp and falling however it wished, you could see it clearly; how his shoulders curved. Fully relaxed, it was like his dark circles were more prominent.
He slipped right into the arms you held open for him, dragging you down with the weight of his body. He didn't steal you from Zayne, no. He never did. Instead, he coaxed both of you down, you with his body and Zayne with his weariness.
Zayne slipped into the sheets to lay with both of you, fingers smoothing a wrinkle between Sylus’ eyebrows.
Sylus laid down on his stomach, one arm wrapped around you, tucking you half under him and in between both of them. And he sighed, as if all weight had finally been lifted off his bones.
Zayne smiled at you, both of you, that tender smile of his which made those Spring-like eyes sparkle with the light of a thousand suns.
Suddenly, you realized there was absolutely no other place you'd rather be and if this was to be your eternity, you'd submit, body and soul, willing and eagerly.
Their bodies accommodated yours, their touch cradled you.
Zayne's lips were soft against yours, Sylus' breath warm against your skin. And you sighed, boneless, delivering yourself to the bliss of that tender moment.
Sylus fell asleep first and then you. Zayne watched the two of you, the way your breaths came, the vulnerability in your peaceful slumber.
Suddenly, the night was very still. And suddenly he knew, as he slipped into dreamland, he'd found eternity with you.
