The Prisoner makes his presence known through the rattling of his chains and the sloshing of water as he wanders the sewers. Chains cover his body, attached to a large lock in the center of his chest and a muzzle over his face. When he comes into contact with water, blood seems to seep out from him, contaminating the water. What this is, in actuality, is the blood of his victims deep underneath leeching into the water as he aimlessly wanders, hoping to come across his next victim. Under the water, victims are tied up in the same chains, weighing him down, ensuring his imprisonment. He is not terribly fast, but his chains move according to his command, and work much faster. It is thought that if he finds a victim interesting enough, they will be dragged back to his lair and hung from the ceiling with chains. They will be repeatedly dunked into the deep water, each with less time to recover until they're held under and drowned. He has not been noted to consume in any way, and it is thought that he kills for his own amusement. It is recommended to avoid sewer drains, entrances, and large pipes. If near one, and the rattling of chains is heard, run away to higher ground until the sound passes.

The Shadow is a void entity, using his many eyes and appendages to capture prey and lure it further into the darkness for consumption. How he consumes exactly is unknown, but it is known to be noiselessly, so possible containment or instantaneous killings are likely. He has the outward appearance of a suited gentleman, but cannot stray too far from any form of shadow or darkness. He seems incapable of going into private residential spaces unless initially spawned inside one. Avoid dark alleyways, closets, and abandoned buildings. If approached, head into the light, or pray to whatever god you believe in and hope they are listening. No one on record has survived The Shadow once caught.
