"Some Kind of Trick?" Egg Creature from SNOBBISM Music Video

Again, Happy Halloween, everyone! We made it through Eggtober!

I tried to stick with edible eggs again this year, but I wanted to do something that was at least 2% spooky for Halloween.

And since Mafumafu's cover of SNOBBISM has been getting me through my art and getting me hyped to draw this year the same way Megatera Zero's "I Want to be Your God" cover was my big hype song last year. And since SNOBBISM has the little egg dude in it, of course I would draw him as a little bit of a spooky thing for Eggtober. Two pieces today, just for fun.

I hope everyone that participated in Eggtober had lots of fun!

Final speedpaint for Eggtober!

He's not my best, but the fact that my style translates at all to a creature is rad. Eventually I will learn to shade more complex shapes and know enough anatomy for various critters that I can get better results. But you know what? I never would have dreamed of being able to render stuff like this at all before Eggtober got me drawing again. And I never would have had the discipline to work this consistently before Eggtober either.
