10. Who are your favourite artists?
Off the top of my head, my recent inspirations:
山田章博 Yamada Akihiro - His works for The Twelve Kingdoms has been one of my favourite art ever. I finally got my hands on the art book recently. They hired him to draw for Fire Emblem Heroes but only old men!! Why!!!!! I want to see his girls!!!! Or pretty boys!!!!
新海誠 Shinkai Makoto - I learned to draw nature backgrounds almost entirely through studying his art book (A Sky Longing for Memories). Actually I think it’s why my art is mostly on the pink/purple/blue side.
白浜鴎 - Their line art in Witch Hat Atelier is amazing!! Especially the flowy clothing wow.
toi8 - Their line art is scratchy but somehow still looks super good with their signature textured(?) colouring.
STAR影法師 - Just… so good……
nineeeeeo - So good…….
SONNET - They switch between cute and cool art styles like it’s no big deal. Goals. Also yummy character designs.
えびも - Dynamic poses!!
宇一 - Their backgrounds and use of colour is A++.
まよ - I really like the way they paint leather and clothing in general.
Namie - Everything is so happy and cute!!!
瑠宇 - Shiny Pokemon art!! The only fan/indie artist whom I bought multiple art books from, and it wasn’t even for the fandom.
青るい - The eyes she draws are like jewels. We also share the same taste in certain themes.
サキコ - Their preference for Japanese & Chinese styled character design is very to my taste 👀
@tofuvi - Soft art!! I especially like the way they paint water. (They’re not publicly active right now)

That sounds like a Unique family you got there. Maybe bring up a different subject, but take into account it must be more compelling than “zombie farts”. Perhaps “unicorn farts” or “lizards”. Next time, don’t even let them bring up the farts, just start talking about lizards, or dragons which are basically the same.
