Ingredients: 1 box of chocolate cake mix. 1/2 cup of vegetable oil. 3 large eggs. 1 cup of water. 1 cup of chocolate frosting. 1 package of candy melts assorted colors. 1 package of lollipop sticks. Edible decorations sprinkles, edible glitter, etc..
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and water. Mix until well combined. Grease a baking pan and pour the cake batter into it. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely, then crumble it into fine crumbs. Add chocolate frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until a dough-like consistency is formed. Shape the mixture into small sneaker shapes and insert a lollipop stick into each one. Melt the candy melts in different colors according to the package instructions. Dip each sneaker pop into the melted candy melts, coating it evenly. Allow excess to drip off. Place the coated sneaker pops on a parchment-lined tray and add edible decorations while the candy coating is still wet. Allow the candy coating to set completely before serving or packaging.
