Upper halves are executed with metallic silver skins — which in this case points to the exterior aesthetic of the Malaysia-based structure — and come packaged with subtle hints of green that poke out through the lower heel and outsoles to translate the building’s tinted windows. Iridescent paneling shows face and overlaps across the mid-foot and tips of the toe in an effort to symbolize the reflection of the tower’s windows during various hours of the day. Moreover, you’ll find the heels adorned with “LAH” lettering, which is Malaysian parlance used to complement sentences in normal everyday conversation. The front and rear illustration was adapted from an old drawings of Mr. Monopoly. Rare that I got to design someones face for a limited edition @sneakerlah pin designs from @pantunpins? Played around with different ideas on how @bryanbotakchin face would work without it being too straightforward that he's the "godfather" of sneakers.
