Olly is starting to lose some grammage and no matter what I do he won’t eat... Going to try ASF before trying to feed live. 

man so i went to check on simca and I smelled blood pee except none of the newspaper was soiled so clearly he peed in his water bowl, which he was soaking in. so I took him out and dried him off and gave him a quick bath because he was STINKY and I emptied and scrubbed the bowl but now my hands smell 100% blood python pee. Washed my hands and I'm still pretty sure I can smell the ghost of his pee. 

Thoughts: Simmy really doesn't like the bathroom. I avoid bathing him in the tub as much as possible because of it. He actually doesn't like being out in water unless he is in water on HIS terms-- usually he settles down after a minute or so and will just sit there and stare at me like "you bitch" until I take him out. I would have bathed him in a big plastic tote like I usually do but I gave blood today and I can't really carry anything more than a few pounds or my vein will start leaking again. Either way... I got the stinky pee funk off of Simmy and he's in his cage now, hanging out under his newspaper blanket. I'm hoping it'll still be warm in a week and a half or so when Simca sheds so I can get some pictures of his new digs in natural lighting. If not I'll just have to use the skylights at the right time.

I was ill-prepared to do holiday themed pictures with my reptiles on Halloween, Christmas, and Easter. I plan on not making that mistake again this year and I have every intention of taking some super cute pictures. Especially since Simmy will be a big fatty butt!! I'm wondering if I could maybe make lil witch hats for both of the babes hehehe

I love it when Simca gets surprised and he totally flattens out Sometimes when I go to pick him up, even if I pet him beforehand to prepare him for hands he still gets surprised and turns into a pancake.

Of course Simca only just clears up the day before I go on vacation.... I'm hoping be sheds tonight so my frand Erin can avoid having to deal with shed-mess. Oi.
