An aspect i find really interesting here is the way Luna had fetishised the idea of Floodstrike being a “wild” cat and how that mixes with her culture’s idea of what a male partner should be doing. Being a provider and protector are perfectly normal traits to want in a partner and Floodstrike has experience in both of these things from living in the Clans, a positive thing to Luna.
Her hopes that he might leave his home in wild behind to live with her beg the question of whether she would want him to fully assimilate into house cat life and become her culture’s idea of “civilised” or if she’d like him to keep acting like a clan cat without his clan and retain the “wild” traits she finds appealing. Can’t wait to see how you continue developing the story!
Thanks! It's definitely something I'm hoping to keep exploring!
