Well, Horchata and Elote both ate like Champs today.
Naga, the goof, struck at the rat but missed, which caused me to drop it. Then, as I'm trying to pick the rat back up with the tongs, he strikes *at the empty tongs.* and then when I DID get the rat back, he wouldn't strike again.

Snake update! The cat is locked in a different room so the big girl gets to explore! She’s grumpin at me though because I won’t let her explore under the furniture.
So good news, my snake Atlas is in perfect health again! Yay!! I'm trying to get him back from the rescue who's been watching him soon, but they haven't returned my last email about when I could stop by to pick him up yet :/ fingers crossed I hear from them soon!
Managed to get the tyke out of her tank. Kwenthrith is 10 inches and is super strong and loves curling around my hand. I wuv her.
I forgot to update y'all two weeks ago Thursday, but Squishy Face is officially home!!! (And yes that’s his/her name.) Top left picture is his/her first day in his/her new house, top right is tonight, the middle is proof that (s)he is overly photogenic, and the last is proof that it apparently takes a week and a half for cats to discover what’s in the giant glass box. I’m going to have to get him/her a climbing structure other than his/her thermostat, (s)he fell off and scared him/her-self literally three seconds after I took the picture.
