Female NPCs (Mt. Rushmore Part 3)
SIDE NOTE: the team does not have their weapons in the park as it is heavily guarded, and bags are checked at the door.
The group more determined now than ever decide to go to the NPS (national park service) office. Bobby says they should be able to learn about the “snake bite” there. Before they leave, another woman enters the ice cream shop (because apparently the Keeper only knows how to write female NPCs. lol). This woman is dressed to a tee. Sharp white button up coupled with a pencil skirt. She has a BlueTooth in one ear and a clipboard in the other. Her heels click on the tile as she enters. She quickly picks up an ice cream from the counter. Jet Cool briefly tries to flirt with her, but she takes one look at him, shoves the ice cream in his face and says, “If you speak with me again, I’ll call my lawyer”. She orders a new ice cream and promptly leaves.
Our heros leave shortly behind this woman and head to the NPS office, only to find it closed. At this time the group decides to walk the Presidential Trail to see if they find anything. After about 20 minutes on the trail, a young teenage woman rushes towards them; tears freely flow down her face.
“My grandma!” she yells. “She’s down the trail. I think a snake bit her!” Bobby and Rowan leap into action, and Jet leaps into flirting (hey a young lady needs help!). They find a little old woman lying on the train near a park bench; a small terrier licking her hand. Bobby quickly scans the body to find two bite marks on her neck very much like the described marks on Lucas Davenport. Lilith performs “magic” to heal the grandma, but her own hands go numb in the process.
The old lady thanks them for helping her and is grateful “they had snake kit”. She tells the group that a man in a suit attacked her, and then she woke up on the ground. When the team presses for details. She said she was hit from behind, passed out, hit the ground, which woke her enough to see a man in a black suit running away from her. The team finds a large stick they assumed was used to hit the old woman, and Lilith decides to keep the stick as a memento.
