Qui glanced over her shoulder after feeling the light tap of someone’s finger against her back. She found herself face-to-face with the other, inquiring about what frozen custard flavor Qui recommended. “Well, that depends on what I’m in the mood for. If I'm having a major sweet tooth moment, I go for the cappuccino brownie. I feel like I can take on the world after eating one of those.” Qui chuckled back at the other. “If I’m in the mood for something sweet & salty, I go for the salted caramel. All the flavors here are pretty great, so you can't go wrong with whatever you decide."

Once again, River was plagued with the curse of indecisiveness. He couldn't decide whether he wanted to go with a classic he had read a hundred times over, or give something new a try. A part of him was craving the comforts of a classic. As a hopeless romantic, being single on Valentine's Day wasn't ideal. He really only had himself to blame. Since moving to Woodside, River's dating life had taken a backseat. He needed the break after Shawn. He needed to figure out who he was on his own again. Years had gone by since then.
