Just thinking about the evolution of whore!insult/derogatory to whore!affectionate/familiar

It was because of the memeabilty of Mean Girls, wasn't it

But also feels like feminism in general maybe?? Because:
Whore -> woman who sleeps around (bad)
But sex is great though and women are allowed to control their own bodies
So lots of sex isn't as much of a problem, especially when you're good-looking enough to be a figure of envy
And then that's how we get
Whore -> someone who sleeps around (cool)
...
Like I wouldn't personally call anyone that and mean it in the sex sense, but DAMMIT IF I DIDN'T LOSE MY SHIT READING THE LINE "the Whore King Dalton" I WOULD BE THE MOST EASILY EXPOSED OF LIARS
