I used to have this reoccurring nightmare that started when I was 3 of finding my brother crying on the top bunk of his bunkbed & his pj shirt was bright red. there was a screw sticking out of his stomach & blood was just pooling everywhere. I jus remember this overwhelming feeling of being scared & crying my eyes out. anxiety over loss has been w me for a long time. kinda been interesting lately to observe how it comes on & noticing what I need to push through it. loss can present itself in many forms, even with growth. identity with self/ego has to be let go of in order to embarace new & that’s tricky & takes a bit to perfect. there’s comfort in the known & growth is painful & frustrating, but the outcome it’s always worth the effort. a lot of my homies been hella workn on themselves these past few years & it’s been so humbling & sick to see & experience as I’m pursuing my own dream self. just simply a happy goose ✨
