Anyway, I'd like to think in the SWAP AU Nya's relationship with her parents is more rocky than in Canon. She loves them ofcourse, but at the same time there's this nagging hatred for her loss of childhood and the responsibility thrown at her the moment they disappeared.

And fun fact, Kai used to call Nya "Mom" as a kid, seeing other kids his age do the same with their mother figures, so as he only had Nya, he called her that as such. He stopped doing that in his preteens, in the phase where everything was "embarrassing" lmao
