Ingredients: 1 box of cake mix flavor of your choice. 1/2 cup of frosting flavor matching the cake. 1 package of candy melts white and pink. Black edible marker. Lollipop sticks. Edible glitter optional. Decorative bow ties optional.
Instructions: Bake the cake as directed on the package, then allow it to cool fully. In a large bowl, crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs. Mix the frosting thoroughly with the cake crumbs after adding it. Form the mixture into the heads of Hello Kitty, then place a lollipop stick inside of each one. Dip each cake pop into the melted white candy to ensure an even coating. Allow any extra candy to fall off. After lining a tray with parchment paper, place the coated cake pops and refrigerate to set. Melt the pink candy melts and use them to decorate each cake pop with the recognizable Hello Kitty bow. Draw Hello Kitty's eyes, nose, and whiskers with a black edible marker after the candy coating has hardened. Optional: Attach decorative bow ties and add edible glitter for extra glitz. Let the cake pops cool completely before assembling or packing for retail.
