As some of you know, I recently had the great pleasure of accompanying the Saint Mary's trip to Oak Valley and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. It was so enlightening to hear about the culture and great history of our country which is often overlook or forgotten. It was an amazing honour to be allowed onto their land and accepted as part of their community, if only for a short time. I also met people with the most beautiful souls and I'm so proud of all the girls for taking the twists and turns of the trip in stride and going with the flow. It was incredible to see them all grow over the trio. It was also just an amazing time to spend with my dad and hear him talk about the part he played in the community all those years ago along with all his knowledge on the wildlife; even if I did have to put up with his AM radio and bad dad jokes. Rob did an excellent job organising and running the trip as well as putting up with my dad. Truly you can tell he really cares about this trip and the experience the girls get. I'm slowly adjusting back to real life and the quick moving atmosphere of adelaide compared to the desert. The trip taught me so much and allowed me to reflect on all that's truly important in my life. I'm so grateful to have been allowed to play a part ๐ โโบ๐ #100happydays #smcov #oakvalley2017 #smcov2017
