Thursday 12th September 2019- An inside look at the pop-up launch event of the smart works collection.

One of the things I admired most about Meghan is how she tried to think of ways she could seriously make a impact her patronages and things she feel passionation about, not just a case of turning up, posing for photos and leaving. Not that there would have been anything wrong with that but it always seem clear to me that she wanted to cause lasting impact.

The SmartSet collection, using women who had been helped by SmartWorks in the photoshoot, getting brands to do the 1 for 1 initiative, which has continued afterwards too - just felt like a great fit. The items sold it that first six weeks would clothe SmartWorks women for a year. I just loved the launch of it, hearing about it as finished project with work already having been done behind the scenes.
