"Fiyeraba made no sense-"
It kinda does if you think about it.
It's the fact that the same Fiyero who sang Dancing Through Life (which was basically a nihilism anthem) worked HARD to be Head of Guard so that nobody could get to Elphaba before he can.
Fiyero is a prince, a person who doesn't need to break a sweat just to have what he wants. Everything, from wealth and political power, he had it. But he dropped this just so that he could be with Elphie, the person who brought out his caring side and showed him there's more to life than putting on a show.
Since Fiyero was from wealth, his type of circle had values like "If it benefits you, you don't need to care what happens to others.". His care for others was shunned because it just isn't the way he's supposed to live. But Elphaba brought his emotions out, she gave him a chance to show his emotions and not just do it for show.
Even when they first met, he didn't care for what she looked like. They loved each other for who they were on the inside and what they could bring out in each other. In a world where Elphaba felt like her color said everything before she could say anything, Fiyero saw past that and was willing to see more.
Even when she was painted as the Wicked Witch of the West, Fiyero understood her enough to know she wasn't wicked, and stood by her side all along, something Elphaba rarely experiences.
They brought out the best in each other and supported each other, and I think that's a reason enough to call what they have love.
I love all ships, but this is a personal fav!!
P.S. I think they should all (Glinda, Fiyero, and Elphaba) should end up together.
FNAF BACKSTORY HEADCANON! : π©°β.Λπ·οΈBALLORA & SPRINGTRAP π°π°
William Afton falls in love with his wife, Clara Afton, and marries her out of profound love. Although he loves his wife greatly, he was blinded by ambition and dreams of being immortal that he neglected his wife and the family he made with her. As time passed, Clara never really understood what he was chasing and didn't even know he was killing children and putting them in animatronics. He was becoming more aggressive and agitated to her, spending the nights at the pizzeria sometimes, she doesn't even know if they were going to work out.
All she thought was that William was falling out of love with her.
Due to the immense heartbreak this thought process brings her, she decided to end her life with a letter saying "I'm sorry William, I hope we get another chance in the next life." And William absolutely breaks because he DID actually love her but his ambition came first so much he was blinded so much he never got to show or tell her that.
Stuck in the mistake and ache of losing his entire family due to his hopeless ambitions (let's put this in the timeline where Elizabeth gets killed later on by a not so far timeline by Circus Baby), William creates an animatronic inspired by her, creating every piece of Ballora in loving memory of Clara and the family he was trying so hard to piece back with everything he could do (Clara and Elizabeth both die closely in time so he's GRIEVING).
But in the process of making her, William is torn between the decision of having Clara's soul possess Ballora or leaving her to the freedom of wherever paradise she's in now.
He ultimately decides to "free" Clara from his cruelty, deeming his connection to the animatronics and remnants and all connected concepts distracted him from showing all his love to her and he doesn't want to put Clara in the situation that caused her distress.
He also thinks about it as a last act of love to her, freeing her from being stuck into a murderous animatronic and being forced into an eternity of manufactured wrath and bloodshed. William chose to let her go as the last favor he could do for her.
When William dies and turns into Springtrap, he never seems to forget about Clara and Ballora, and sometimes dances with her, each step she makes reminding him every time why he fell in love with the person who Ballora was inspired by. It sends him back to the old days, when Clara and William weren't just a fleeting memory anymore. When both of them felt like what they had was real.
ily springtrap and Ballora pls don't explode
*explodes cutely and gets incarnated from hell to back*

FNAF BACKSTORY HEADCANON! :
π©°β.Λπ·οΈBALLORA & SPRINGTRAP π°π°
William Afton met Clara Afton at a performance art show at a considerably old age (not old but around 30-ish) due to how closed-off his nature is and how focused he is in his goals.
Henry and William have been lifetime friends (and I mean LIFETIME). They met each other in first grade as William was doodling and Henry asked if he could borrow the nearby crayons. They clicked in that instant and even became business partners once they grew up.
But they had their contrasting values too. While Henry was more chill going, William took work more seriously and nothing was more important than his career; which was why Henry had a family long before his friend did. When William was obviously too stuck up in his work and Henry noticed that he seriously needed a break (I think it's canon that he really doesn't indulge in self care??), he invited him over to a performance art show his daughter was going to and asked if he could tag along with them.
Around that time they were still building Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and William had no choice because Henry was the one designing the suits and William was almost done engineering Bonnie so he would have nothing to do.
When they arrived at the theatres, William was BORED at first, even when the performances started. He thought that the play was too "quiet" and unappealing except for people who are truly interested in it.
Until Clara appeared on the stage.
For normal eyes she wasn't anything special or different, just another performer in stage makeup. Even William didn't even know why Clara stole his eye just like that. But there was something with how graceful she moved.
His eyes were just glued to her like that, observing her every detail. Her detailed hair ornaments, her dark blue hair, and her make up that made her similar to that of a porcelain doll.
When the performance ended, and when Clara cracked that beautiful smile of hers, William was stunned.
He was stunned so bad his eyes were left staring at where she was and only Henry snapped him out of his trance.
Ever since then William frequently came by; with or without Henry and his family. And Clara noticed this too + the way he looks at her with a mix of aloofness and dream like he just got hit stupid in the head.
It took several performances for Clara to notice how often William came over and William warmed up to her first, inviting her to a night of drinks.
then they married each other soon later after thatπ»

Rodrick never comes early. But he can make up for that

Music boomed throughout the whole school gym, bodies stomping eagerly at the beat of the song and giving the air heartbeat with a heart attack causing volume.
But it didn't compare to the ringing in Regina's ears as she silently fumed in rage, eyes watching the door as if waiting for her prey to come through the pink satin clothed-draped mess called the entrance.
Prom had started thirty minutes ago.
Thirty minutes.
She called him five hours in advance to this event and she shouted the words "Do not be late." at her porch as he dropped her off his van paired with Rodrick's nonexistent driving skills that made every drive feel like a ticket to hell.
If her voice could go through the microphone port of her phone and hold Rodrick down personally to make sure he heard every word of her saying for him to make it on time, it would've clutched him so hard it'd leave a mark.
She told him to make sure he made it on time.
"Aren't you going to dance?" Gretchen's voice chimed, awkwardly shuffling with Karen to be next to Regina whose face wore a scowl.
Just as if time has been playing them, a huffing Rodrick ran into sight, his signature black eyeliner and raggy clothes branded with LΓΆded Dipper replaced with a fixed suit and a still the same mop of messy hair.
"I'll get to you girls later. I have something to do." She dismissed before slowly yet cunningly walking towards Rodrick, leaving behind a confused Gretchen and curious Karen.
"Is she dress-coding the people in prom?" Karen asked with such sincerity in her voice it wasn't sarcasm.
A confused and Regina-was-upset-at-her Gretchen turned to her, huffing out a, "Not now, Karen." before walking towards the food area.
"Sure." Karen said before Cady went up to the two of them, tapping them on the shoulder and engrossing them in a conversation on who's getting Prom King and Queen.
Meanwhile, Regina trudged so slowly to a Rodrick whose face looked like he was a child caught red-handed stealing candies.
When they finally faced each other, it took a minute of a staring contest before Regina smirked out,
"What's got you so late pretty boy?" Regina threateningly smirked.
Rodrick's smug smirk pissed Regina even more,
"You told me to fix up, so I did. And I couldn't taint my reputation by arriving awfully early."
"I said fix up, not to attempt a reboot!!"
"But you can't lie, I look good." Rodrick's eyebrows teasingly cocked up, riling Regina in a way even a book can't deny.
"Don't put words in my mouth." Regina simply answered, although a smile tugged at her lips as a response, and Rodrick caught it.
To make up for his little stunt, he danced the night away with Regina, which the pair looked like a poised woman and a wild dog.
And Rodrick stayed true to his word, early and being on time was not in his vocabulary, no matter what way it goes.
After Regina and Rodrick were both crowned Prom Queen and King Regina definitely hadn't pulled strings and Rodrick making the cheesiest speech alive that included a "thank you to my girlfriend" dedication, they crashed into an after party which was like prom but ten times the body odor and alcohol amount like half of them weren't already drunk with the alcohol snuck in.
Regina tagged her girls with her too, claiming it's a first time experience as they usually didn't crash at random people's houses but it was just a cover up since she wanted to go party and have a reason to be scandalously close to Rodrick without people buzzing in her ear about a dating rumor the next day at school.
Not that her friends didn't mind too, Gretchen was engrossed in a conversation with a girl she hasn't seen before, Karen was talking to some guy who awkwardly chuckles as she smiles at her own words and questions while Cady was dancing with Janis and Damien.
The sun was close to rising onto the horizon as bodies shuffled farewell, coming home in such a late time that everyone with strict parents were guaranteed a crisp belt to their ass when they go home.
Rodrick didn't get drunk badly enough, so he drove Regina back in her neat car, and when they reached her house he striked up the conversation.
"I'm sorry for coming in late. I wanted to at least decent for you." He mumbled softly, and Regina's face genuinely softened hearing him.
"I know how you are." She responded.
Rodrick then fumbled his hands in his pockets and pulled out a velvet box.
"Bought this for you. To make it up." Rodrick stepped forward, showing her the box and cracking it open, revealing a silver necklace with a punky looking R in its middle.
"...Figured our initials look good together in your neck. Plus, it doesn't lessen who you are. Worst case scenario people may think that your ego impossibly got higher that you decided to put your initial twice on you." He snarkily yet playfully commented which earned him a light pinch to the arm.
"Whatever. I say it looks amazing." Regina said before an unprecedented yawn stole the stormy calm of her face.
Rodrick just laughed which ticked Regina off.
"Never knew the Queen Bee gets sleepy."
"Do you want me to throw the necklace away?"
Rodrick just gave a smug smirk before leaning in to kiss her on the lips, snaking his arm around her waist as to pull her closer to his mouth.
"Goodnight. Or good morning. Whatever you like." He breathlessly said, a beet-red Regina just in his arms.
Regina huffed. "...I'm going to make sure everyone sees your necklace."
That just earned her a smile from Rodrick that reached his ears, which grew as Regina landed a kiss on his cheek.
"Bye Rodrick!!"
"Bye Regina. Gotta catch the bus!!"
Under Regina's breath, she muttered something so low Rodrick wouldn't have heard it if he wasn't still holding on to her.
"You're not smooth." She playfully chuckled before a soft click! was heard from her house, the locks doing its work and hiding a grinning Rodrick outside the veranda.
