If the The Magicians finale does set up a Love Triangle for S5, I think we should spend the whole 9 months between now and then plastering twitter with #AliceDeservesBetter. and/or #LoveTrianglesAreToxic. This season was completely filmed before the creative team or network knew what the reaction to 4x05 would be, so course correction was impossible no matter how loud we yelled, but S5 is still being written. JMO, but I think focusing on the lack of enthusiasm for triangles, and (most of) the fandom’s desire to see Alice’s character treated better will get the our issues across more than just sobbing about queliot.
