Posted @withregram • @loverussellon Well friends, it’s happening! The cooler weather, the changing of the leaves to oranges, yellows, reds, browns. Yes, autumn is just around the corner! Does anyone remember ‘Autumn in the Country’? I do! It was a fall weekend when all of our local artists opened the doors to their studios and welcomed the community in to see their work and chat about their process. People would buy a ticket, get a map and start driving from one place to another. Painters, potters, woodworkers, photographers, all on one tour. It truly was magical! So here’s a thought: through the month of October we’d like to feature as many Russell artists as possible, but this is where we need your help! Please reach out and send a message or comment with your favourite local artist so that we can get in touch with them! The only stipulations that they live in Russell! If we are overwhelmed with too many artists, we will continue this feature as long as it takes! So people, send us your nominations for great artists is our town!
