#MusicMonday Ye Oye Adze Oye by The Sweet Talks The Sweet Talks were a popular highlife band in Ghana. They were formed in 1973 at the Talk of the Town Hotel in Tema where they were the house band. The group was led by Smart Nkansah and featured A.B. Crenstil on vocals. The group had many hits including “Ye Wo Adze Oye” which we use in our #SmallChop videos. While the group was very popular, they disbanded in 1978 due to government enforced curfews and economic hardship in Ghana.
