A tasty sandwich made with small batch pizza rolls, melted mozzarella cheese, and tangy marinara sauce between two slices of bread.
Ingredients: 1 batch small batch pizza rolls store-bought or homemade. 4 slices sandwich bread. 4 slices mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup marinara sauce. 1 tablespoon butter, softened.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. If using store-bought pizza rolls, follow package instructions to bake them until heated through. If making homemade pizza rolls, prepare them according to your recipe instructions. While the pizza rolls are baking, spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice. Place 2 slices of mozzarella cheese on 2 of the bread slices, followed by the baked pizza rolls, evenly distributing them. Spread marinara sauce over the pizza rolls. Top with the remaining 2 slices of mozzarella cheese and the other 2 bread slices with buttered side facing outwards. Place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Slice the sandwiches in half if desired and enjoy!
